As a team, we encourage social connections through a multitude of family friendly
events and neighborhoods. Our community has developed the capacity to be open to change, while protecting and building on strong
family and educational values.
We are destination for arts, culture and have local attractions that promote outdoor recreation and healthy lifestyles.
History:
The Lake Mills Vision Team was established in January 2010 under the direction of the Lake Mills Chamber Development Corporation and the City of Lake Mills.
With the pending job losses at a major industry, the goal was to encourage more people to become involved in the community and to provide input on what they
would like to see for the future of Lake Mills.
The Vision Team has been incorporated as a 501C3 organization. They will be an independent organization, but will also work in partnership with the City of
Lake Mills and the Lake Mills Chamber Development Corporation.
Achievements:
The team has built a vibrant economy with diverse employment and businesses clustered around quality manufacturing, high-tech and cutting edge green industries.
We are now globally connected, and famous for our entrepreneurial development programs for youth and aspiring business owners. We have expanded on our successful agricultural sector and our unique location to attract new businesses and people
We are the hotbed of innovation!
