Job Title: Production Assembler
Key Responsibilities:  
  • Perform repetitive bench or line assembly operation to assemble units or sub-assemblies according to workstation procedures.
• Operate equipment to prepare or process materials into component parts by cutting, twisting, lock seaming, crimping, bending, forming, etc. and/or the applying of adhesives, spot welding, etc. in order to facilitate in the assembly of units or sub-assemblies.
• Package product in prescribed containers.
• Inspect and check products or parts according to workstation procedure and/or SPC guidelines.
• Inform supervisor (or designate) of any defective parts.
• May be asked to perform minor material handling duties and simple setup procedures.
• Assist in departmental preventative maintenance programs.
• Treat fellow employees with dignity and respect.
• Participate in team functions.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
• Use proper safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by area supervisor.

Key Requirements:

 
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency
• Good communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good attendance record
• 1-3 years manufacturing experience desired
