Coordinate or act as resource for programs that will benefit residents of our community. Identified projects include: Recreational trail, renovation of Lake Mills Family Fitness Center, construction of new theater, assist with Lake Mills Area Community Pre-School and Daycare renovation project, resource for elderly and lower income families who are in need of financial assistance for home repairs, heating assistance, down payment assistance, etc, resource for tourism activities and attractions in area, diversity issues.

Research ideas for value added agriculture and recognition for area famers.

BUSINESS/RETAIL

Promotions for downtown businesses, Lake Mills Bucks program, Co-op advertising programs, Christmas Promotions, Easter Egg Hunt in conjunction with Junior Women's Club, recuit new businesses, assist current retailers.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT/INDUSTRY

Recruit new downtown businesses, recuit new industry or technical business, work with existing businesses in whatever way we can - yearly visitations, etc., Industry Recognition/Appreciation event, major renovation issues for downtown area, Housing - single and multi-family, Housing Incentive Packages, coordinate training and workshops for businesses and industry, LMCDC Revolving Loan Fund, Enterprise Zone assistance.

MARKETING/PUBLIC RELATIONS

Print new Lake Mills brochure and map. Develop marketing materials for recruiting new businesses and informational packet for new businesses. Provide "New Neighbor" packet to new residents in Lake Mills.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Any event that will bring people to Lake Mills and promote Lake Mills as a great community to live in and visit.
