Garbage Collection –

Garbage is picked up once a week depending on your location. A purple
bag must be used and placed on the curb by 7 a.m. Bags are available
at City Hall or at David’s Foods. Yard waste ONLY can be brought
to the location west of the old creamery on S 4th Avenue West.
Burning Regulations

Yard waste ONLY can be burned within the city limits between the hours
of 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Recycling – Waste Management / 1-800-777-8408
Recycling is picked up the 2nd and 4th Thursday of EACH month. Please
have container on the curb by 7 a.m. You must have a recycling sticker
on the container if you are not using the yellow recycling container.
The stickers are available at City Hall – 105 West Main. 641-592-3251.
